Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Tables at Manifest adsflkj HELP

Due to my ~~and QUITE POSSIBLY Manifest's~~ disorganized ass, I... I'm starting to doubt if me and

will be able to get tables at Manifest this year.

The traders co-ord hasn't replied to peoples' emails in forever, and the con is in 2 months. Sending the application form itself would not take long, but should anything happen, I'm really scared that we won't make it in time to have our applications confirmed and fixed etc.

I'm really depending on Manifest to help back up my finances in order to get to Sydney Animania, so this is stressing me out more than it should

If there is anyone here who has already applied and got a table, I was wondering if they would mind sharing? Obviously I would pay for half the table, and I don't have much new merchandise this time around, so I don't mind if I get even less than half the table space.

Please let me know, ONLY if you're seriously okay with it! I would be so thankful ;_;

EDIT: CRISIS ..HALF AVERTED!! Thanks to I managed to contact one of the co-ords and they kindly told me that there are a few tables left so it's just the matter of sending out the forms (which Yumi is about to do this very minute). Hopefully all goes well! _{I am still wondering why they didn't put up the application forms on the actual website though...}

I was pretty lucky. I kinda just checked the website one time a month ago and sent the coordinator an email. She replied back with the forms and stuffs and I sent them out the day after.

I got an extra pass as well. For free. I told her that I need an extra one as I've always have an extra helper with me for the past 3 years. You can email the coordinator and state the reason why you need an extra pass.

Oh are you guys going on Friday as well? Can I tram together with you awesome people? I know which tram to take don't know exactly where to get off. >:
