THE BOY IS FINE MINE!!
Whooop, here's my late SMASH report and as usual, it's kinda photo heavy so I'm splitting it into two parts.... ALRIGHT!! LET'S DO THIS! ☆
First off, let's begin with the Amazing Adventure that transpired on Friday night+*+*+
This time around, I was traveling with a moe gal, ikemen and bishoujo: Cherri, Jeffers and Kaori
SPOT THE ODD ONE OUT.
We had some time to spare after dropping off our luggage, so we decided to grab a bite at maccas (that's Mcdonald's for you non Aussies!)
BAD IDEA.
Behold. Half the reason why we ended up running around the airport.
We were so caught up in arguing whether they're Mcdonald's COOKIES or BISCUITS that by the time we had checked the time again we realised we only had 4 minutes left to catch our flight.
At that point we hadn't even gone passed security check yet.
We made a mad dash towards the security check point. My boots set off the metal detector, and since they're a huge hassle to put on again I decided to run in my socks.

Lady Luck was obviously on holiday because our gate happened to be STUPIDLY FAR AWAY, so by the time we got there we were informed that we had most certainly missed our flight.
"There's only one flight left going to Sydney in 7 minutes."
"You'll need to rebook your tickets at the service desk upstairs, collect your luggage from downstairs, come back up to drop the bags off and get to the gate."
All in 7 minutes.
I am pretty sure the flight was delayed or something because there is no way we actually did all of that in 7 minutes, and most certainly not with the uncooperative old man working at the service desk. He was adamant that we would not make it, all the while he was rebooking our tickets. Kaori handled the booking while the rest of us ran back downstairs to collect our suitcases, brought them back up and dropped them off.
We were welcomed back by the people at the security check point who looked confused:
"Didn't you girls just come by before?"
Apparently I was in such a daze, they had actually let us through without much hassle.
Again, I had to run without my boots, but luckily the gate was MUCH closer and we ACTUALLY MADE IT.
What's more, me and Kaori actually had a LOT of nice leg room! Jeffers and Cherri were situated at the back, in which we joined them later because it was pretty empty. We ended up helping Jeffers with her sailormoon charms throughout the entire flight LOL.
We arrived at the hotel at around close to midnight, and woo it was SO NICE!!
TWO BASINS!!! A TRAVELING COSPLAYER'S DREAM!!!!

I'm surprised we didn't set off the smoke alarm (considering our luck that day.)
AT ONE POINT I WENT TO SLEEP I DON'T REMEMBER.

Thanks so much for bringing pedals into SMASH ^q^ I think these cuties were the only yowapedal cosplayers at the con?? It was pretty neat finding out Onoda was the same Naegi I met last year hehe.

One of my favourite tables to visit!! Phee, Lily and Sally were always so smiley, fun and adorable to hang with! Not to mention their goods made me happily open up my wallet a couple of times, oof!

We had a photoshoot at the end of the day but we're still waiting on photos~ will post them later when we receive them!
That night, I met up with some Sydney pals for dinner and it just so happened one of our friends invited Reika along??!?!?
Yeah that Reika.
It was a huge group so we were pretty much in our own little groups- I was in the "I-know-of-Reika-but-am-indifferent" group. While a few of our other friends were freaking out and adamant in not facing her because they had removed all their cosplay makeup off LOL it was super cute.
We just so happened to walk passed a sushi train restaurant where Leo, Kylie and Rachel were eating at and snapped a photo of us:
I'm the grown ass adult with an icecream cone in my mouth.
I went up to the window and pointed in a direction, mouthing:
"R E I K A !!!"
THE ENTIRE TABLE SHOT UP. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE PACK THEIR BAGS AND PAY FOR THE BILL SO QUICKLY BEFORE.
The group with Reika was already walking wayyy ahead at that point and I needed to catch up so I'm not sure what happened to the restaurant crew LOL;
Anyway. That's basically all I remember from Saturday!!
