So after all the excitement during the first day in Sydney, we managed to wake up pretty early to get our faces on.

The reason why we had to fit three people into one bed is because we assumed from the photos on the website that we were going to have one long couch, BUT NO IT WAS THIS TINY ASS CHAIR RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.
Irene and I regretted we forgot to take photos of her on the floor of the shower.
In the lift down to the lobby I suddenly felt uneasy:

It was a pretty long wait in line at the convention centre. We were ushered into the building and then lead into some kind of huge dungeon thing where we waited and camwhored

I'M...USUALLY NOT A HUGGING PERSON but I guess it's because I haven't been going to as many cons as I used to, I kinda unleashed all my pent up con affections this year. I AM REALLY SORRY IF I MADE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE IN ANY WAY!! I JUST HAVE A LOT OF...FEELINGS AND YOU WERE ALL SO LOVELY.

Met another Naegi and Kirigiri! We kept bumping into each other during the day, very lovely group of people

Other than taking nerdy happy snaps with people, I spent most of my time running around trying to feed my friends stuck at artist tables. Jess and I went off on this mission until we realised one thing...
HOW DID THE TWO MELBURNIANS END UP WITH THE TASK OF LOCATING SHIT IN SYDNEY I DON'T KNOW.
But it was a blessing in disguise.
On the way to the food court, my eyes caught sight of something that made me freeze in my tracks in the middle of the mall

I WAS SPEECHLESS. I WAS SHAKING.
I did not see any Mondo nor any other Ishimaru cosplayer throughout SMASH... BUT I GOT TO SEE THESE BEAUTIFUL GENDERBENDS! THANK YOU FOR EXISTING YOU GODDESSES...!!!
They were on their way back to the convention centre so we promised to meet up later!

I FEEL ACCOMPLISHED.
A lot of us DR cosplayers hung around the Despair Academy table for a while and at one point we were all waiting for a Togami and Fukawa cosplayer we heard about.
I'm pretty sure I developed cavities meeting these people:

A couple of people recognised me, which was really touching seeing as I thought I would have been forgotten at cons by now haha. Thank you so much for saying hello!! <3 Sorry if our conversations were cut off short, it was a really hectic and cramped atmosphere;; it was the first time I actually felt a little faint from overheating in cosplay to be honest. Even though I didn't have the stress of managing a table, the place was just way too crowded for me to freely experience the con. I didn't even buy as much from fan traders as I had hoped to;; I dreaded walking around the traders area that much!
As the con was winding down to a close, me and Peppan hung around the traders as we waited for our friends to pack up. Suddenly, this guy interrupted our conversation and asked for her number. 
SHSL COCKBLOCKER.
I'm sure he's probably a nice guy, but you're really not doing anyone favours by giving your number out to someone you're clearly not even interested in. At the same time, I think a lot of us girls feel obliged to give out our numbers to guys who approach us 'politely' and succumb to that 'niceness', so I don't really blame Peppan for almost making a mistake she'd regret later. SORRY PAL, MAYBE TRY TO PICK UP A GIRL WITHOUT HER HUSBAND AROUND NEXT TIME.
It was time to have our first proper meal of the day, brunner (breakfast + lunch + dinner). We went to... I think it was called Hana Hana?? NOOO IDEA. There were a bunch of cosplayers lining up for a Korean BBQ next door, which was pretty hilarious.
As we lined up to collect our food orders, I started giggling to myself like a huge loser because of the number I got

We spent dinner listening to Miss Chen tell us Dad jokes that even I couldn't laugh at, watching some guy bolting down the street at the speed of light, wondering where Jess (was it JEss? I think it was..)'s food went, groaning at our sore feet and all that jazz.
Because it isn't a con report without a photo of 
looking more dignified than me.
We ended the night with some N2 ICECREAM! Everyone was raving on about this place and I CAN SEE WHY. Place was set up like a lab and the icecream was hella tasty!! Would definitely go back for some more.
Anndd...that wraps it up for Saturday!! Even though it was more tiring than I anticipated, I had a great time seeing everyone again ; u ; I wish I had more time and, well, ROOM to properly catch up with everyone, but I treasure every moment spent with you all <3 Thank you for such a fun SMASH!
